Andrew “A.J.” Jordan Shearouse, IV, died peacefully on Friday, August 25, 2023 at his home in North Carolina. 

The Macon, GA native was born on May 16, 1949 to the late Andrew Jordan Shearouse, III and Maggie Stewart Shearouse. Andrew lived most of his life in Savannah before moving to North Carolina. For more than 20 years, Andrew served the Savannah community as a master locksmith with Bradley Lock and Key. 

Andrew was United State Marine Corp. veteran who served heroically in the Vietnam War. The Purple Heart recipient served in Vietnam from 1967 and 1968 and was honorably discharged in 1969.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Sherry Shearouse; son, Andrew Jordan Shearouse V (Panda); daughter and son-in-law, April Caley Baldwin and Joe Baldwin; stepdaughter, Rebecca Shearouse; stepson, Christopher Cox; grandchildren; Stephen Banks, Shania Caley, Mariah Caley, Michael Deal, Anthony Hodges, Gabriel Hodges; and several great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwich Cemetery.
